Export Finance

The service provided by I.F.&M. starts right from the first, pre-contractual phase of the deal and ensures the correct and most opportune solutions are found in terms of:
  • definition of Country Risk and Commercial Risk;
     
  • Supplier's Credit and without recourse financing - forfaiting;
     
  • application for Simest assisted financing conditions (DL.gs. 143/98);
     
  • SACE export credit insurance;
     
  • SACE insured Supplier's Credit and without recourse transferal of the policy to the dicounting institution;
     
  • structuring and management of Tied Buyers Credit operations;
     
  • assistance and support with Documentary Credit issues and assistance with Bank Guarantees and Silent Confirmation;
     
  • alignment of sale/purchase contracts with Assisted Credit Lines and Commodity Aid managed by M.A.E. as part of bilateral cooperation pacts;
     
  • Access to TFP (Trade Facilitation Programme) from the EBRD (European Bank for Recontruction and Development).

Financing for Internationalization

The need for Italian businesses to establish new markets and to relocate production facilities abroad has pushed government authorities to introduce new financial solutions to support companies working, or intending to work, internationally. IFM's range of services in this area include:

  • technical and financial feasibility studies on investment plans;
     
  • preparation of all the documentation required in the financing application process and support during the processing of the application by Finest SpA / Simest SpA;
     
  • direct contact with the institutions and bodies involved in the procedure (Finest, Simest, credit institutions etc.)
 
 

The service provided mainly covers financing under the following laws:

  • Law 100 of 1990: Financing for investment in foreign businesses
     
  • Law 19 of 1991: Share capital investment and financing of foreign companies with capital held by Triveneto area companies
     
  • Law 394 of 1981: Assisted financing for foreign market development plans
     
  • Law Decree 143 of 31 March 1998 art. 22 (Law Decree 136 of 2000): Assisted financing for feasability studies and technical assistance
